Do you know how to make a DIY splint?
When you come across a patient with a suspected sprain or strain, it's always best to treat the injury as a fracture.
This involves keeping the injured part still and the best way to do this is by using a splint, but at times these aren't easily available.
There are a number of other items you can use including folded newspapers, rulers or even thick sticks.
You will also need something to hold everything together, such as duct tape or even spare shoe strings!
